New Community Book Exchange opens at Osmington Village Hall

A new community facility has been added to Osmington Village Hall and is now open for business. A book exchange has been established in the foyer, capable of holding some 300 to 350 books which may be borrowed on a ‘bring one, take one’ basis.

Bring in a book which you have read, ideally a hardback, and take one home to read at your leisure. No charge, no paperwork, no fuss!

Paperbacks will be accepted, although we would prefer it if you were to hold onto these for the fete book stall later in the year. The better the quality of books you donate, the better it is for all!

If you are coming to an ad hoc function in the Hall, then do use that opportunity to undertake your exchange. In addition, the Hall is open at regular times, as shown below, when being used by group activities. Please respect the group’s operations when they are taking place in the main hall and avoid interference during their activities – particularly during the archery!

Monday 9am – 11.30am (Pilates)

Tuesday 9.30am – 11am (Yoga).

1pm – 5pm (Weymouth Tea Dancers)

Weds 2pm – 4pm (Archery – strictly no entry to Main Hall)

7pm – 9pm (Table Tennis)

Thursday 2pm – 4pm (Art Group)

7.30pm – 11pm (Foragers’ Folk Club)
